"I call the top bunk!" Miko called, throwing her suitcase next to a bed before clamboring up the ladder. She sat on the mattress and grinned down at Rosy, who laughed.
"Alright, fine," she said, sitting on the bed underneath.
"We're going to be idols, Rosy. How does it feel?" Miko asked, her voice muffled by the bed in between them. Rosy took a moment to think before responding.
"It feels unreal. I don't think I'll accept it as actually happening until we've officially debuted."
"Now we'll have to deal with school on top of being an idol. I'm not excited for that," Miko sighed. "It was hard enough dealing with school while practicing."
"โฆYou actually do your schoolwork?" Rosy asked.
"What?" Miko bent over the bed to look at her. "You don't."
Rosy shrugged. "Should I? If we can make it, this will be my career. What else will I need?"
"A diploma?"
"To do what with?"
"Do your parents know?" Miko asked, then immediately regretted it when she saw the look on Rosy's face.
"Oh, I mean- Sorry, Rosy. I forgot."
"No, they don't know," Rosy grumbled. "I doubt they'd care if they did know. All of my effort is going into debut, and that's final. I don't care about anything else right now."
"I'm sorry, Rosy. Seriously."
She sighed, then nodded. "I know, Miko. It's just hard to know my parents won't be waiting up all night for our debut music video to be released like yours will."
"Mine will be waiting up for both of us. They love you, Rosy."
Rosy cracked a smile at that. "Well, I'm glad I can manage to get at least one group of adults on my side."
