‘V-1’ reveals preliminary rankings of idol contestants based on online voting

We should forget those online voting since they don't reflect the quality of the stage, just the popularity of the groups before it.
The stage could be bad they would still be on top.
First I was a bit surprised to see Dreamcatcher ahead of Weki Meki, but after checking their sell number this year, it's about the same. Cherry Bullet isn't far either. (source: gaon)

Miss Trot is second but it's mostly due to Hong Ja and Song Ga-in and their public doesn't care much about idol group. So Jeong Dagyeong is underated here, even in the news about V-1 they forget to name her group Venus. DIA is way underated too, they are largery ignored when releasing bop. GWSN don't have much sell either but they released 3 album in a year and 2 are counted here. Sonamoo isn't really active since 2 years, their company don't want to release the album financed by makestar. I'm just surprise to not see April in the chart, I thought they built their fandom.

Today we got the other 6 stages.

Dreamcatcher Siyeon vs DIA Jueun
They are my faves as participant, so it's heartbreaking to have already a battle between them, but let's be fair.
Siyeon nailed it with soft power
Jueun first played the piano with her high skills to make the climax, then sang with her lovely voice.
Seriously I can't choose between them, and the difference between the votes was as close as 3.

Cherry Bullet Haeyoon vs Gugudan Nayoung
Haeyoon was powerful and convey emotion.
Nayeong was a rocker and made the show.
So different stage, hard to choose. I prefer rock but I think Haeyoon was a bit better.
Still the stages I like the least.

WJSN Yeonjeong vs GWSN Seoryeong
Yeonjeong sings well but her powerfull voice was a bit off
Seoryeong was really good in this slow song
Seoryeong was better in my opinion.

Overall today Siyeon, Jueun and Soryeong got my preferences.

OK I think the show is already biased and I won't change my opinion about the perf.

I just watched the perf so I don't know how it was voted, but ok if the previous perf were great, this eps is just better.
Woo woo, they really gave their all, putting their live on the line.

So it was 2 groups of three individual perfs, and only one reach to the final.
I don't know how it was voted, the perfs were too good for me to choose a winner.


I think I prefer Jeong Dagyeong, but I'm a bit biased. All the 6 perfs are great, period, no other comment needed ^^ They should make a permanent group with them.

Then we finally got WJSN Yu Yeonjeong vs Dreamcatcher Siyeon.

They did another perf for the final. I'll be fair, the winner was a bit better for this round but I prefer greatly the previous round.
