Chapter 1: The Golden Ticket
The email didn't feel real. It sat on your laptop screen, glowing in the dark of your room: โCongratulations! You have been selected for the โStay in the Dormโ 2026 Global Experience.โ
One month. Thirty days of living, eating, and breathing the world of Stray Kids as a "creative consultant" and fan guest. You were a STAY, but you were also a musician, and that was why they chose you.
When the black van pulled up to the JYPE building on a chilly January afternoon, your heart was doing backflips. You expected chaos. You expected the loud, "Step Out!" energy of eight men who ruled the stage. But when the elevator doors opened to the 3RACHA studio floor, the first thing you heard wasn't a songโit was silence.
And there, leaning against the doorframe of a recording booth, was Lee Know.
He wasn't wearing stage makeup or glitter. He was in a simple black hoodie, his dark hair messy, holding a cup of iced Americano. He looked at you with those feline eyes, sharp and unreadable.
"You're the one," he said, his voice a low, melodic rasp.
"Y/N," you managed to say, clutching your suitcase.
He tilted his head, a small, mysterious smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. "I hope you donโt mind cats, Y/N. And I hope youโre ready to work, because Chan doesn't sleep, and I don't let people slack off."
