(If you don't, she's an ATINY that posts clips of our boys and the fromm messages with translations that she does herself and TokToq lives, translating the Hongjoong ones. She also posts Hongjoong of the day photos and kind of acts as an ATINY news platform haha, she posts about it whenever ATEEZ are hosted on a different channel, I love her, fully recommend her channel.) She posted an old clip today of Wooyoung on a live talking about the song Friends and how he really wanted to do something like that with Yeosang. Plus, Yeosang's bias in BTS is V and Wooyoung's is Jimin, which makes it even cooler imo.

Yeah, I don't know how I didn't realize it was a cover right away, as soon as I heard it I was like "huh, this doesn't really sound like ATEEZ, but it's still good" so I guess that's why haha

Ahhhhh why is Hongjoong's accent in English so adorable????
I'm just listening to his lives while I do homework because I don't know Korean so it's not distracting, and his voice has this soothing and focusing effect on me, which is wonderful and perfect, but then he says something in English, even if it's just "bye, I love you," and I have to make the squinty "ugh, so cute" face, put my head in my hands, and mumble scream a little, and then I can go back to doing my homework. It's like a jumpscare but happy instead of scary.

He's so well spoken! I already knew this, but reading the quotes from him here is just reminding me again. It's so special when Captain shares his deeper thoughts and emotions with us, it really does feel sacred. Shout out to the author, too, for a wonderful article! It was well written, engaging and full of imagery. Also I could actually read it because it wasn't behind a paywall, that's always nice. I'm really proud of Hongjoong for fulfilling this dream of his, and for his confidence and generosity to share it with the world and with ATINY.

I think so to! I find a lot of idols are quiet and like to keep to themselves (which isn't a bad thing), but they just don't express themselves the way he does if that makes sense. Although ATEEZ has been in the industry for a while it isn't always the case with a lot of idols, so its always nice to see when they do end up speaking their mind, especially on something they are so passionate about.

I think so to! I find a lot of idols are quiet and like to keep to themselves (which isn't a bad thing), but they just don't express themselves the way he does if that makes sense. Although ATEEZ has been in the industry for a while it isn't always the case with a lot of idols, so its always nice to see when they do end up speaking their mind, especially on something they are so passionate about.

Oh, for sure. Even within ATEEZ, Hongjoong is certainly a person who shares a lot about himself, much more so than most of the others. Sometimes someone online will ask about the members and their personalities and I end up spending an hour writing about each of them, and I always find that I have like four times as much stuff about Hongjoong than, say, Yunho, for example. And I don't even think it's because he's my bias, he just allows us to see so much of him, which I think is both special and scary. Even though he's been with us for seven years or more, it still feels fragile to me, like it's so incredibly important that he's met with unconditional love and support whenever he shows us a vulnerable side of himself, instead of the nasty hordes that like to swarm the internet and infect the mind. And I know he's not a fragile person by any means, but I think if someone is met repeatedly with awful comments on something super personal and dear to their heart, no matter who you are, it's bound to make some sort of impact. So I'm grateful and relieved that he has such a warm and loving community around him. Because he does feel safe to share these things with us. And that's not something just anyone can do.

I fear my entire Christmas list is composed of ATEEZ. The only two things that aren't ATEEZ are a book about the language and reconstructed pronunciation of Shakespeare, and money. But, you know. I didn't really have much I wanted to begin with, and I have spent $0 on Kpop so far, so I think I deserve it and it's not a waste. I did ask for a JJOONGrami plush. I have way more plushies than I actually need and I normally don't do anything with them, but I feel like if I get a JJOONGrami, I won't hide him away, he will be displayed proudly in my room, just as soon as I clean it up to the point where if Seonghwa walked in, he wouldn't want to take a bath in disinfectant.
