I really wished I liked tteokbokki. the sauce is amazing, but the texture of the rice cakes really makes my stomach feel queasy. it's the same thing about those boba balls for me. the texture is just more important for me i guess. i'm pretty sure rice cakes can be made with either rice flour or wheat flour (someone can fact check me on that) i wonder if there's a texture difference? i'd definitely eat the sauce by itself though. i ate it with korean corndogs and fish cakes, it's really good.
