Dasom: Hi Muse! My name is Dasom and I am the leader of Mythos.
Jade: Hey my name is Jade and I am the rapper of Mythos.
Haruka: Hello my name is Haruka and I am the main dancer of Mythos.
Aria: And I am Aria! The maknae and main vocal of Mythos!
Dasom: Muse welcome to our pre-comeback fik live for our first full album!!
*all the members whoop and cheer* Dasom: "Paradise Lost" is coming out in just a few hours. So we decided to hop on Fik Live to give Muse some insider information.
Aria: As the unofficial best spoiler in the group I shall pick the first question! Haruka: The age hierarchy in Mythos crumbles yet again.
*Aria giggles* Jade: Yah maknae, be more respectful to your unnies. Aria: You mean maknae on TOP....unnieeeee.
*Everyone laughs and Jade shakes her head* Aria: Okay moving on! I have the perfect starting question, "What are your thoughts on "Paradise Lost" from @ Mythosian. Dasom: This album again shows a different side of Mythos than we have shown so far. I don't want to give away to much, but a good way to describe it is...dark. Aria: And because of that I think this is my favorite album so far. I really enjoy these styles of songs, I'm sure you can tell from the songs I have helped to produce for Mythos. I am so excited to really display this side during our performances. Haruka: I was actually a bit skeptical, especially after hearing the demo for the title track. With "ANTIFRAGILE" we showed a brighter side to ourselves, so I thought we would continue to do that. But this album is a complete 180. But I think I really grew to love it. Jade: While it may not be my favorite album in terms of my taste. I think it's our best album in terms of concept and cohesiveness. And of course that last song makes it extra special. Aria: Now who's the spoiling menace unnie????
*everyone laughs*
Dasom: I like this question, we've never really gone into detail about this topic. "Did you get to chose your hair colors/what are your thoughts on them?" from @ HaHaHaruka. Jade: We do get some say in our hair color when promoting. But we are given guidelines so we stay within the concept. For example with this comeback we were told to pick colors like Black, grey, silver, and purple. For me I really wanted to go silver, but my hair was really fried from going blonde for "ANTIFRAGILE". Our hairstylist unnie said it would be best if I just dyed it black. I've also been growing it out! This is the longest my hair has been since debut. Dasom: Speaking of silver, our Haruka underwent a big change! Haruka: Yeah...I had previously never dyed my hair a funky color. It was a reddish-brown during "ANTIFRAGILE" but it didn't require me to bleach my hair. But I decided to take a big step and now my hair is silver. It is a bit dry but I really love it. I think I'll try out more fun colors in the future. Aria: I also lovveeee my hair!I thought about going full purple but when I saw our stage outfits I felt that doing big highlights would best suit our stages. I feel so punk rock *giggles and puts up the rock n roll hand symbol*. Dasom: I am also a part of the brown/black hair only club. I wasn't ready to fully dive into different colors like Haruka, but I did add a silvery color to the ends of my hair.
Jade: I think this could be a good next question, "Based on ENCHANTRESS's first full album there should be some special songs appearing on "Paradise Lost". Can you tell us about them?" from @ HappilyEverAfter. Dasom: Hmmm well I can tell you that this trend ENCHANTRESS sunbaenim established with "Beautiful Nightmare" is present within our album. Ummm I'm trying not to spoil too much. Aria: I'll do it for you unnie! Our album has unit songs!!
*Jade pinches her nose and looks like she's gonna have an annyurism* Jade: I swear you should be banned from these types of fik lives Sora. Haruka: Well I guess now that the cat is out of the bag...we do have unit songs. Dasom unnie and I have one together and our Tom and Jerry team do too. Dasom: *giggles* You should have seen them practicing together Muse. I lost track of the amount of times Jade said "Yah!" and Aria did her maniacal maknae laugh. Aria: Maniacal maknae laugh? I have no such thing! My laugh is the most adorable little giggle. Jade: You keep telling yourself that, but eardrums are still shaking.
Haruka: I think we should answer this question next, "What was the best and worst part about preparing for this comeback?" from @ MoonlightAria. Dasom: The best part for me was all the contributions I was allowed to make to the album. I think the worst part was taking on a different sound and figuring out how to perform it well. Jade: I would say the best and the worst part was working on the unit song. It was great cause we had so much creative freedom. But it was hard because of that freedom. It was difficult to decide on songs, choreo, even stage outfits. Aria: I agree. But also regarding the choreo we did decide on, it's a lot more intense than I am used to. Jade unnie created most of it, so it has elements of dancing that she is better at but I am weaker. But unnie really helped me, so now I'm excited to perform! Haruka: This album is the first one I have a production credit outside choreography. So it was amazing getting a song I worked on approved, but it was hard because I had to work really hard and resubmit several times before the song was accepted. But I'm glad for it, as it helped me grow.
Dasom: Alright Muse we do have to wrap it up as we need to go to the rehearsal for the showcase. But we can answer one last question. I'm going to pick, "What are you most excited to show with this comeback?" from @ DasomLovely. Haruka: Getting to show my contributions to the album on stage. Such as choreography and lyrics I made. I'm excited to show Muse my growth. Jade: Hmm I would say my vocals. I have been working hard to improve them, so I'm pumped to share that. It'll be especially evident in the unit song. Dasom: I think for me it would also be my song production. It's always an amazing feeling to be able to sing the lyrics you wrote while on stage in front of Muse! Aria: I'm excited to show my performance. I practiced my dancing and stage presence quite a lot in order to best show the concept. I hope Muse will be proud of me.
