I like animes with emotion. My guess is that when the creators make it so that the characters feel like real people, you care for them. And that causes you to feel more fondly about an anime. Idk, just a thought.
I'm with you there, even though they are just fictional, such scenes and emotions of the characters just make us feel that they're more real than reality.

Oh! How are you liking Clannad so far? Engage Kiss only has 13 episodes so it’s fairly short but it’s so good!
