in Japanese there's multiple ways to say it and we don't use the words "I love you" much anyway we prefer to use our actions instead of words but we say aishiteru (aishiteru yo for a man and aishiteru wa for a woman), there's also the literal translation which is aishite imasu and there's also daisuki

Another way is saying that the moon is pretty tonight, the term directly means to say ‘I love you’ I find this very interesting because my Korean friend who knows Japanese told me about it
