i like it wayyy more than Tomboy. It’s really catchy. Also the mv is great. Everyone is saying the cartoon woman represents Soojin too. Basically no complaints

So cool but it feels odd that the song is called "nude" with a sexy concept MV but they're so covered ._.
I think I got used to western standards
Anyways IDLE are queeeeeens ❤
That’s the point of the song /gen
The “nude” they’re referring to is putting their true authentic selves out there without holding back. However, because of the audience’s expectations, they’re aware that some people who wanted to see them actually nude (not meaning you, just in general) will be disappointed they won’t get to see them naked. That’s why they say to “think outside the box to like it”, because they’re saying you don’t have to fully sexualise them to enjoy the song. It’s basically fighting against expectations of sexualising women. I think the message is really cool! It also explains the final scene of the music video in which Soyeon is sitting alone with her knees close to her chest - because she’s taken this huge risk to discuss this, and now she’s been left out in the open with nothing to hide behind - basically she’s now nude

What a good analysis, I never thought of it that way. What I did get since the first look at the lyrics was that the song is a more direct criticism to society's misogynistic standards in general terms. I hope they don't give up on songs like this, they have so much positive impact.

Here’s a video I watched which convinced me of this analysis. Of course art is subjective so maybe I’m wrong (and the original creator), but I think it’s interpretation is a good one, especially when you know CUBE originally rejected the song title coz it was “too inappropriate”
