i have a book you might like! it's actually my favorite ever and it kinda combines everything you mentioned (minus gore, kinda). it's called speak, and it's by laurie halse anderson. the thriller part is more of a psychological thriller, tho. and tw, the main character has been r@p3d, so there are mentions of that
