i love blackpink, but they ain't the best. imo, sua from deukae, momo from twice, alexa the soloist, and olivia hye from loona could easily outdance lisa. siyeon from deukae, ningning from aespa, wendy from rv, and miyeon from (g)i-dle could easily outsing rosie and jisoo. dami from deukae, soyeon from (g)i-dle, yeeun from clc, and hyuna could easily outrap jennie.

My opinion is like this: They're not good. But they don't have to be good to be enjoyable. I listen to BP when I want some fun dance pop that is quite frankly, forgettable compared to the rest of Kpop? Especially recently. Their best release in years was Lovesick Girls but that doesn't mean I don't listen to any of their other songs. They had their moment and now they can do other things -- like model, which Jennie seems to love.

Also they're not "good" because YG stifles them. Both Lalisa and On the Ground were no higher than a 6/10 and would have been better if they were under a different company with more creative control over their own music.

i agree! rosie loves music, that's her passion, but she gets no real control over her music, which really produces lower quality songs. jennie enjoys songwriting too, and she loves rapping, but she never gets to do that.
