Are there any fandoms you guys have left because of the Idol/Idols themself or the fandom itself?

i used to stan gfriend but after all of the n4zi stuff i no longer associate w them, i don't even listen to their music anymore, plus some of the buddys are every uh, aggressive.
there's probably a lot more but i forget, ive fell out of a lot of groups

Yea. I think BTS has one of the worst fandoms. I used to stan but things have changed and their fandom is overly toxic.

so many idols use the korean ver. thinking its better than the actual word but it's rly not it's the exact same thing but in a dif language

BTS’ after I got death threats & “I hope you get r@ped & murd3red” threats from Army’s after I called Jungkook attractive in 2018. Got so bad I had to delete my Instagram because I kept getting threats and someone made a hate page about me where people would send in messages about how they were going to hire people to kill me and my family etc

currently I’m not part of any fandoms though, because I care more about the music then being in a fandom, but yeah, Army’s really ruined it for me

I haven’t left the Moomoo fandom but I started to feel very disconnected from Mamamoo after seeing some of the ways Moomoos spoke about other idols I like

Also Orbits really put me off LOONA and I’m starting to lose my love for them

That sucks. It's like they think they own their idols. Little do they know it's not really fun for the other people in the fandom who actually respect their idols. I have a lot of friends who left BTS fandom (including myself) cuz the environment is not fun

yes but it's also the thing normal ppl think 'BTS=K-POP' like when u say ur a kpop fan they say 'oh u like bts? they all look the same. they're not talented. their music sucks. why do you like them? why are they called jungkook or idk?'
that's the reason why i was harassed, but it was also hate against myself.
