how to have author role?

im finally an author with a published post on the website, but i dont know how to have the yellow author role thing like many others have.
i don't know if i'm even making sense but i hope you get what i mean ;-;
do i ask or something?

You'll get your author role shortly after your first post is published, I recommend PMing an admin to let them know that you want the role ^^
