Any Tips to Memorizing and Differentiating Idols in a Group?

Good luck! One of the reasons I don’t stan them is cause there’s too many members and honestly I can only recognize three of them, because of their faces lol but hopefully someone can help you with tips!

I still get Mingyu and Wonwoo mixed up from time to time.

But, for me, I pick out things that I can match to one specific person, such as the shortest person, the deepest voice, the highest note, etc. Facial features too.

I wish I had solid tips for you but I think it's different for everyone and also depends on how closely you follow the group.

They are a large group so I understand, but I memorized NCT before I memorized Seventeen so Seventeen was a walk in the park for me

Probably if you can find a show for a group, it helps. But honestly, i dunno so I keep putting off learning group members

Also! Guides are super helpful. Even some of the 'unhelpful' guides can help you recognize the members!

Just look at the littlest details. Like with when I started getting into red velvet I always confused Seulgi with Irene, but I started looking at the way they danced and how their features on their face were

This works for me: If you can read Hangul, watching music shows where it tells you who is singing helps me when I'm leaning names. Also just scrolling through their social media and seeing who is posting what! Hope this helps
If you can't read Hangul, sometimes watching guide videos on YT is a good jumping off point to getting into new groups

I can read Hangul so I guess it'll be easier for me to memorize them all. Thank you!

First, I watch a video like helpful/unhelpful guide to (the group).

Then read about the band profile on this web site and try to understand each member. That will help to memorize at least several members.

Then I watch their TV shows like weekly idol and funny videos about them.

That's what I've been doing...

Same here When you memorize all 21 members in NCT, you know that you've become a master of memorizing idols

I look at face and height first and that usually differentiates some of them out. Some have distinct faces which stand out. After i go watch a variety show or something else where the members are together. If theres english subtitles they usually have the name of the member talking in brackets before the text od what they are saying. Thats my way of memorizing who is who.
