its about as common a theme as it would be anywhere else i think. there's some vague ones and some more explicit ones, and in some cases its a secondary thing... (in russian roulette for example, the "murder" is a byproduct of the cartoon violence that red velvet are emulating--which means they don't really die at all; that's the way i see it anyway.)
