Mine is either The Fly or Get Out.

I had to watch The Fly for a college English class; it's a sci-fi/body horror film about a scientist who accidentally turns himself into a fly. Call nineteen-year-old me a wimp, but I skipped out on the last few days of watching it bc I couldn't take it anymore. Just. Plain. Creepy.

Get Out is about racists brainwashing blacks, and let's just say I'm glad I'm not black. It literally scared the literal poop out of me.

The Exorcism of Emily Rose, I'm a horror fanatic but this movie gave me nightmares for months and not because of the jumpscares but the psychological impact of it cause it's also based on a true story.

First of all: I love Get Out! It's such a good movie. The same director did another movie called "Us" that's even better.

For me I would have to say The Conjuring, The Babadook, The Blair Witch Project, and The Exorcist
I also am really terrified of The Ring and The Grudge, even though I haven't seen them

I really liked this movie. It was creepy knowing it was based on a true story though.

Oh and there's one that scared me so much I couldn't finish it: Drag Me To Hell
It was also kinda gross so that contributed
Yeah, that is on my list of actual scary movies. For me, I have to jump more than once or feel "weirded" out afterwards to consider it absolutely terrifying.

I saw the trailer for that and still don't understand it???
Really it's about this girl who essentially gets trapped in a cult. And while doing so the movie manipulates the audience as well into thinking this place is good and fun. I don't want to go to much in detail of things becuase tw. And I also don't want to spill some things. I will say this movie just really shows how easy it is to get into a cult. And at the end the main character just is so stripped from sanity that the smile at the end of the movie she makes people thought was a happy ending. While it was just a sign of her losing her hole mind. And there's a lot of hidden for shadows and things so that's another cool thing. They also burn people in bear suits.

I would suggest watching those theories on YouTube or the videos that make a whole analysis on the movie and such a great way. I think did a great job at pushing the barriers of getting into your mind.
