Synopsis:
Kim Yu Mi (Kim Go Eun) seems like just an ordinary, single working woman. But what would make Yu Mi unordinary? Yu Mi’s cells! Each of Yu Mi’s cells controls her emotions, and how she reacts to those emotions. Some are at work daily, while others wait until they are needed. Only one cell has been dormant ever since she went through a bad breakup.  Yu Mi’s love cell had fallen into a deep coma and Yu Mi continues to protect her heart, until her co-worker Chae Woo Ki (Minho) sets her up on a blind date with his friend Goo Woong (Ahn Bo Hyun). Goo Woong is an emotionally stunted game developer, he also has no idea how to express feelings. After his first date with Yu Mi, he wants to try having a relationship he felt he had no need for in the past. His own cells unexpectedly started sparking Yoo Mi’s back to life, and the relationship between them starts to get interesting. With the help of her co-worker, Ruby (Lee Yu Bi)  Yu Mi’s love cells gradually start to revive themselves. But a Seo Sae Yi (Park Ji Hyun) a coworker of Goo Woong tries to break the couple apart causing some of those dormant anger and jealous cells to cause issues of their own. When Yu Mi is feeling sad, she seems to run into another co-worker Yoo Ba Bi (Jinyoung) who leaves Yu Mi feeling a little unsure of her current relationship. Will Goo Woong’s and Yu Mi’s cells be enough to bring two hearts together forever?
