PURPLE RAIN (퍼플 레인) was a South Korean 5-member boy band under JTBC Studio. The group consisted of: Bohoon, Jiwan, Hajin, Nau, and Gwanghyeon. They debuted on March 5th, 2020 with ‘The King Must Die’. Purple Rain was formed from the survival show ‘Superband’ and won 3rd place.
On October 19, 2020, JTBC Studios announced that the band had officially disbanded after their contact ended and the members will return to their original companies, except Nau who will continue under JTBC.
