WSG WANNABE [SUB-UNITS DEBUT]

WSG WANNABE is a project group formed by the popular MBC Variety Show *How do you play ? (Hang out with Yoo)*.
The concept was to form a spin off of MSG Wannabe with women.

The group is formed with 12 members from well known groups (Laboum Soyeon, Sunny Hill Kota, Seeya Boram, Baby Vox Eunhye, Urban Zapata Hyunah), solists (Navi, Sole, Hynn, Kwon Jinah), actress (Jin Joo, Jung Jiso) and a comedian (Eom Jiyoon).

It was a blind casting focusing only on their voice potential.
Well know artists like Jessy weren't cut out because they are already stars.
So we have some of the best singers with a large range of vocal abilities.

After their great cover of Momoland, they debuted into 3 sub-units. Watchout :

WSG WANNABE (4FIRE) - I Missed You (보고싶었어)

WSG WANNABE (Kaya-G) - At That Moment (그때 그 순간 그대로)

Hynn, Seeya - Lee Boram, Jung Jiso, Laboum - Soyeon

They won some music show :
- double crown before aespa in Music core of July 23th,
- 2nd win (and 3rd place) in Music Core of August 8th.
Since Music Core is also from MBC, I'm not sure if it's that relevant.

In *circle chart*, they claims high rank in july monthly charts :
- 12th, 17th and 63th in global k-pop chart,
- 1st, 2nd and 14th in digital chart, other songs 112th and 139th,
- 2nd, 3rd and 18th in streaming chart, other songs 121th and 144th,
- 5th, 6th, and 7th in download chart, other songs 75th and 189th,
- 1st, 2nd and 6th in BGM chart, other songs 107th and 167th,
- not in album chart / retail album chart,
- 44th and 77th in singing room chart,
- 1st, 2nd and 34th in bell chart,
- 1st, 2nd and 68th in ring chart,
- not in social chart.

They also held a concert with MSG Wannabe members (who couldn't last year with covid's restrictions).
They also made some great covers. Their interpretation of "She's gone" (from Stealheart) is of another level.

Now the project has ended, but I hope we'll see them individually more often.
