Why not get a head start? Brilliant thing about the internet is that while you don't necessarily have the same structure as a college course (though that's possible too), you can learn pretty much anything online! You could start by downloading an app like Duolingo or Lingodeer, or check out some of the learning YouTube channels, like TTMIK, KoreanClass101 or Go! Billy Korean...

Then I forgot to post what I actually meant to say. Native English speaker, learning Korean right now. I'm tempted to try another language once I'm at a point I'm happy with in my Korean (which won't be for a while yet), but I'm not sure what language it'd be yet; I'm juggling between Dutch, Chinese and Japanese.
