i believe bts and bp both have valid reasons for their popularity. bts western tracks are lowkey a disgrace to the rest of their discography which is why i can see why people may think they're overrated but they're still not bad songs, just rather simple. i'm not a bp fan but i can see their style as appealing to the masses and they revolutionized the girl crush concept. i think bp's overall music quality is subpar though

i said maybe bc they're not bad at all i just think they're not nearly interesting or unique enough to be where they are... their concept is literally the most stereotypical kpop boy group

it's bts and blackpink, I mean both of them are really great but I've lost alot of interest in bts bc of how popular they are and I don't really see what other people even see in them. They have good songs but their english songs itself really aren't my favorite anymore, plus I prefer their 17-20 era more
