What does fancam mean?

Ok, so I know that some of you will think that I am stupid (and I don't deny it), 'caouse I have no idea what that fancam mean, but it's true I really have no idea what this mean. I watch a lot of videos in which the fans share with us their unpopular opinions and most of them get annoyed by that fancam and I start to wonder what the hell this mean. So please if you are familiar with this can you explain to me what it means and why it annoys fans that much? I tried to search in Google what this mean but I can't actually understand very well so I decided to ask you guys ☺

a fancam is like a video of an idol taken by a fan and/or just someone in the crowd. no need to think you're stupid, i didn't know at first either.

A fancam is a video taken by a fan of an idol. But it's usually when the band / idol performs on a live channel (KBS, SBS..) and the channel makes a video focused on the idol in question.
