What do you guys think about the new update/change to Youtube's live chat?

I am currently watching the middle/close to the end of Xikers current live (as I'm writing this), and its been a while since I've opened up the live chat on Youtube so maybe its been around for a little while now, but I couldn't help but notice the change and 'ranking's within the chat and wondered what everyone else thought of them as I'm currently fifty fifty on it!.

I have written comments in live chats for a while and when I was participating in this live stream for their 'staycation' live stream, I noticed I actually had a rank. Although I do agree with some reddit posts I was reading regarding it helping with engagenemnt and things like that, I can't help but wonder to if people would become to focused on this as well.

Anyways I was just geniunely curious.
