I'm not saying they copied them, it often happens that kpop entertainment companies buy the rights of songs from other labels (SM mostly that I know of):

Some examples:
(KE$HA demo)
(SNSD version)

(Cinema Bizarre rock version)
(SHINee pop version)

I think it's interesting to see how each one of them performs them in their own way :)

There’s also some of the other way around, where kpop groups will I guess do there own version of existing western songs:
