for the next 6 days until my birthday, ill be posting one of my favorite recipes as well as a song. i meant to do this a lot earlier but i got lazy. on my birthday, ill give everyone a song that represents them (again because some of you guys scared me last time :'))
- Beat butter at medium speed of an electric mixer until creamy; gradually add brown sugar, beating well. Add flour, beating well. Set aside one cup of the flour mixture. Press remaining flour mixture into a greased 13'X9'X2' pan.
Bake at 350 degrees fahrenheit for 14-15 minutes or until slightly browned. Remove from oven, set aside
- Beat cream cheese at medium speed until smooth. Gradually add sugar, beating until mixture is light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating just until blended. Stir in lemon juice and vanilla.
- Pour cream cheese mixture over crust. Sprinkle flour mixture and walnuts over batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Cool to room temperature on a wire rack. Cover and chill 8 hours. Cut into bars.

explanation thingy: this is one of the most low effort desserts i make that are actually brought to parties and given to friends. it's really easy and i would highly recommend them if you like the crust in cheesecake more than the cream. if you like the cream more, it's not as good. this is my mom's recipe that she found somewhere and modified a little. i don't make it that often so i didn't get the chance to change it too much, but its definitely better than before.
