On a weverse post Bighit announced that Suga will be unable to participate in upcoming album promotion due to a recent surgery.
Suga underwent surgery on his shoulder on November 3rd as long time army's know Suga's shoulder had always been a problem for him as he had a motorcycle accident in 2012 before his debut. This has been a constant health issue for Suga.
Suga will sit out of most of the promotion activities for BTS' new album BE to focus on his health and recovery.
Bighit also explained that Suga needed to be in good health for his upcoming military service.
He will return to the stage when he is fully recovered.

He had a similar surgery to one of the ones that I did. It's the repairing of torn cartilage called labrum. His was in his shoulder and mine in my hips.
The good thing is that the recovery time isn't too long, so he could be back sooner than we think.
I'm glad he got the surgery. I know how painful it feels to go around with a torn labrum.
I hope he gets well soon.
