cliche, but i heard dna - bts in 2018 when "love yourself" came out and really liked it but wasn't a kpop fan. then i heard eleven - ive this year and decided to just start listening to kpop hahaha
The first couple songs I listened to often were Boombayah and Ddu-Du Ddu-Du. I started get into Blackpink properly during Kill This Love.
The first songs I sort of remember from the beginning of my time in kpop (that weren’t Blackpink) are Fancy by Twice and Secret by WJSN. There’s probably so many more that I’ve forgotten but I remember those two
boombayah and whistle by blackpink, and some bts songs, like i need u, no more dream, and blood, sweat & tears. i think stay by blackpink was the song that made me decide to rly get into kpop, tho
The first songs I ever heard were Growl and Monster by EXO. They didn’t necessarily get me into Kpop, but just them, and for a while, I was completely obsessed. But other than that, I wasn’t really interested in much else.
A couple years later, I heard Not Today by BTS and Forever Young by Blackpink, and I think those two songs were the ones that intrigued me enough to actually dive into Kpop and explore more.
My best friend (at the time we just met) was trying to get me and our other friend to listen to kpop in like 2017 and she pulled up gee by snsd because she knew it was liked by people and I liked it and then decided to just listen to more
I'd heard f(x)'s Electric Shock on Disney Channel when I was younger but I didn't know it was KPop. I officially became a KPop stan in late 2019 with BTS and Blackpink. My first ever Blackpink song was a cat cover of Ddu-Du-Ddu-Ddu, (im not kidding) and I can't remember if my 1st BTS song was BS&T and Fake Love. Then I rapidly started to find other groups through watching Guess that Song videos on YouTube.
hey to me it was Not Today by BTS. it actually took me quite a long time to really get into kpop in general, i just thought at the time i loved a "band", and then i got curious and discover a new world. Even though they changed a lot and despite their kinda "monopoly", i am still very much attached to them, they really made me grow up, learning about love and pride, and brounght me a lot of joy when i was very lonely and bad. I don't know if i'll feel that with another group in the future.
so yeah, all this waffle to say that this song kinda change my life in a way
I heard BTS-Fake Love and Pentagon-Shine in 2018 when they were recommended to me by a friend. I started exploring throughout the years and really got into it during quarantine and the year that followed it (2021)
there were a few that my sister showed me. I think the songs were limitless and the 7th sense by nct, don't wanna cry by seventeen, icy and dalla dalla by itzy
