SM Entertainment to debut female supergroup in January 2022

On December 26, SM Entertainment announced the creation of an all female supergroup named "Girls On Top" consisting of soloist BoA, Girls' Generation Taeyeon & Hyoyeon, Red Velvet's Seulgi & Wendy aswell as aespa's Karina & Winter.
They will debut with a special stage on January 1 2022 – likely at SM’s online concert SMTOWN LIVE 2022: SMCU [email protected], which will take place on the same day.

SM’s last supergroup came in the form of the boyband SuperM, which was comprised of members from SHINee, EXO, NCT 127 and WayV. On their launch in 2019, they were billed by the label as “the Avengers of K-pop”.

The lineup is good but I think they could've waited because aespa debuted a year ago.
I think Yoona would be good in this lineup.

But apparently there's rumors on another unit with all the other members? Would be cool tho to see Yoona, Yuri, Sunny, Giselle, Ningning, Irene, Yeri and Joy. Imagine them doing an elegant concept? Tbh this is the lineup that personally for me would be the cherry on top.
