So I’m like crazy late, but I was reading on SM’s Wikipedia page and found out they basically went on strike against Mnet. Who knows what happened?
Thanks mama, I was lost because I know something similar was going on with YG and mnet. From x
" According to one version of the story, Mnet offered to distribute SM artists’ music, as the former was already distributing for JYP and YG. Had the deal worked out, Mnet would have become the biggest music distribution platform in the entire K-Pop industry. But unfortunately, SM Entertainment could distribute music contents well on their own and didn’t need Mnet to do it for them. After things went sour SM began boycotting Mnet in 2009 and 2010, during the golden days of Girls’ Generation and Super Junior. MAMA attendances were missed by SM artists during the period as well. "
Hope it helpedThanks mama, I was lost because I know something similar was going on with YG and mnet.
