Dash is probably the only "nmixx change up" song that didn't take more than one listen for me to like it. I loved Dash with every piece of my soul and I truly think it's suitable for nmixx's concept and competent in the industry.
About Run for Roses, uhmm....... It starts well, you expect a classic pop instrumental buildup but then it suddenly changes to that weird violin melody and then switches to the chorus that sounds like a generic kpop downtempo chorus. The change between the electric guitar sample, the weird violin, and the change to that average chorus is not of my liking, and I don't expect it to be popular.
For Soñar I don't really have a strong opinion, I mean, it's ok but I'm not a fan of non-melodic choruses with very harmonic pre choruses and verses. But not bad. Btw I'm addicted to the bridge.
I like BOOM for a hiphop b-side. It's a good combination of beat, bass and harmony.
I LOVED Passionfruit but I understand why it didn't get chosen for title track, its genre was extremely trendy last year and it doesn't really fit the concept.
Same for XOXO, cute song but they would be accused of being generic if it was the title track.
