There's this YouTuber named chaebin n out who makes these videos where they reimagine the concept of a comeback. Essentially changing the concept to something better or just for fun.
I hadn't really thought about it until recently, when I heard First by Everglow for the thousandth time.

Here is my reimagining of the concept and I lowkey think mine is better!

Okay so First's concept is this warrior supernatural kind of thing. It's very hardcore, and I remember it being compared to boy group songs when it first came out. It kind of sounds like something NCT or EXO might put out.

The message of the song is female empowerment.

I think the concept should be a royal one and here's why:
- The message of female empowerment can still be expressed in this way
- The orchestral and majestic opening just slides me into a fairytale
- The vocals sound very sophisticated and refined
- The lyrics fit ( 'You know that I come first' 'I'm the winner winner winner' 'But know your power')
- They could also make it like an evil queen type concept. Hungry for power.

What I would change to fit the concept better:
- I would include aspects of the orchestral intro throughout the song. Especially during the dance break. It should sound less robotic.
- Costumes would be similar to that of (G)i-dle's 'Lion'
- Crowns might be worn

yeah idk, I think this soul look a lot better.
Do you have any comebacks that you think would be better reimagines?

memeM by Purple Kiss

Ik a lot of people love this song but I also know a lot of Plory don’t. Purple Kiss seem to be experimenting with their style which is fabulous, but to me they didn’t suit memeM.

If I were to change the concept, I would want it to be slow and creepy, sorta like the second verse of the song is. Perhaps it could build up to a more intense chorus, before dropping back down again. The lyrics talk about being in someone’s head and witches and stuff but the song sound doesn’t portray it at all. So many girl groups either go for a cute sound or an intense sound I wish there were more groups (take IVE for example) who break these trends, and PK has the potential to be one of them

Here's another!

What is Love? by Twice

I think the music video captures the concept pretty well. Having each member in a different romance movie. Presenting the idea that sometimes love feels so unreal that it's like you're in a movie. The lyrics display this as well.
I think they should have continued this concept with their stages.

I also think the music video could have been better structured and bigger budgets. Like Dahyun was kind of just there for comedy relief and Chaeyoung got Charlie Chaplin and Leon the Professional? I think they could have each gotten a romance movie. so:

Nayeon: The Princess Diaries
Jeongyeon: Ghost
Momo: La La Land
Sana: Pulp Fiction Casablanca
Jihyo: Love Letter
Mina: La Boum
Chaeyoung: Leon the Profession/Charlie Chaplin Dirty Dancing
Dahyun: The Notebook
Tzuyu: Romeo and Juliet

They could do a stage for each of these, highlighting the specific member.
Then they could do a combined stage, a stage when they are dressed like the audience, and other romance movies.
I also think in the MV they shouldn't have been dressing up as the male characters.
Nothing against dressing not according to your sex, but it made the MV kinda campy.
So they could have hired back up dancers or actors to do that.

I think it would have been so cool if they continued the m/v concept.
