In the beginning everyone is just chilling in this garden until Seulgi gets curious and looks outside she sees something which I'm guessing is the world that they show for most of the MV We see Seulgi as some type of dark queen after that scene seeing birds dance around her I think Seulgi Is the one who is in control now NOT Irene Like I said this is now Seulgi's world so she is in charge and Irene is now HER puppet. Each of them are stuck in their own world except Seulgi she sees everything and keeps them trapped in their own world Joy is stuck in the sky Yeri is stuck in a strawberry which is disguised as land Irene is stuck on a boat and underneath her Wendy is stuck on the water. Keep in mind Wendy and Irene are VERY important ESPECIALLY WENDY. Inside Yeri's strawberry you can see her with creepy chicken guys which are distractions she is the only one that has no idea what is going on she is innocent. Wendy escapes from the room she is trapped in but has to find the strawberry which is Yeri. We then find Irene and Seulgi watching over them because they are still in the garden while the others are not. Then we see Joy with this light Im assuming she is using the light to help Wendy find Yeri. So these 2 are on the good side. Then Yeri sees through a whole that Wendy is looking for her. Then Wendy finds the strawberry and a hole they can escape through too. Inside the strawberry

i don't keep up w lore, ever, for anyone, but i had a little smth.
it connects umpah umpah to feel my rhythm. i'd already noticed the similar lyrics ("feel the rhythm" in umpah umpah --> "feel by rhythm"), so i started thinking. in the umpah umpah mv, they're at the beach but it's rainy. i've taken the song to be abt drowning bc of the water in the mv and lyrics like:
-i'm warning you to be careful, it might be deep
-i've seen many [go in] but they couldn't all come out...my eyes can't see how deep it is
-stifling and suffocating
-breathe together (this line is kinda mocking bc you obviously can't breathe while you drown)
-warning, you drink water again
-crazy and suffocating
-just breathe in and you'll float
they were alive, but they've now drowned and d!ed, w the experience being the "something unforgettable" and "fly above the horizon" meaning that they've become angels (or maybe not) and have gone to the afterlife, thus ending umpah umpah. after umpah umpah comes psycho, where the girls all appear to be working against each other; the song is much darker both sonically and visually. they've now entered purgatory, where they'll stay until queendom.
queendom is noticeably brighter than psycho, and dare i say...lively? have they come back to life? nope. actually, the girls are still in purgatory. they know that they will not make it into heaven bc of their past sins (whatever they did to that poor pizza boy in peek a boo, trying to k!ll each other in russian roulette, etc). queendom is a mixture of them both longing for the time when they were alive (the more "realistic" scenes) and fantasizing abt the heaven they'll never get to see.
finally comes feel my rhythm. the mv has gone back to the dark theme, as well as having those creepy bird mask ppl. this is bc they're in hell. the bird ppl are there to keep them in line and prevent them from escaping. the ballerina scenes are part of their punishment: dancing endlessly due to their lack of remorse for their crimes committed while alive and their habit of dancing while/after sinning (the choreo scenes). the rhythm they feel is the rhythm of the waves they felt as they drowned, so that they'll spend eternity feeling those feelings of desperation and fear, just as they caused others to feel while they were alive.
wow that was long, but hopefully it makes sense. it was fun to come up w, tho!
