Kyoto animation studio was at first set up by a group of housewives to ease their husband’s economic burdens and kill boring time. This is said to be the main reason why the art style is cute and feminine.
Some animes made by Kyoto: Free!, K-ON, Tamako Market, Violet Evergarden, Hyouka, Tsurune etc..

Kyoto is my favourite anime studio and I found out this fact today. I thought that it's nice to share with y'all!
