Jeemin~2005
Jeemin is currently competing on I-LAND 2. She also had one of the biggest fanbases both Korean and International, which secured her position as 4th for the live voting. Unfortunately she wasn't picked to debut with the group. Her skills are decent and she has been rapidly improving recently. She went viral for her leader edits on R U Next which shows her leadership capabilities. Her popularity and skills alone are sizeable as a kpop idol, but her star quality is extremely honed on. This is why I think she is one of the trainees with the most promising chances of debuting.

Himena~2008
Himena floated through R U Next. She was one of the most unpopular contestants on the show but survived until the finals solely alone by showing her skills. She was often praised by judges for her capabilities as a trainee. She, like Jeemin, has this presence about her which makes herself have the id aura despite not debuting yet. Himena was the definition of underrated in my opinion. She was one of the youngest on R U Next so she also has more time to train and hone her skills in to become a better idol. Being Japanese also helps as international idols debuting are becoming a trend.

Seoyeon~2008
Bet you didn't see this one coming! Seoyeon consistently was ranking last in the rankings in her time for the show, yet she always had a positive attitude about it. She never let it bother her and continued to perform her best, being happy for others who got the top spots. For me, that is a true quality that separates Seoyeon from the others. Her vocals skills are also overlooked, she is quite good at projecting her voice. She doesn't really get any recognition and was one of the more unknown trainees of the show, but I think she will become an idol later.
