I feel like there are no overrated groups, they all work hard to manage to get to where they are up to this point. But that's just MY personal opinion

I don’t believe people don’t deserve the fame they get, however big 3 groups will (for the majority) of the time have a major head start in popularity even if they’re not that different or unique.
(And that’s not really throwing shade coz I stan Aespa and Itzy, I just think it’s important to acknowledge Big 3 privilege)

I don't think any of them are overrated tho maybe some of them are overhyped sometimes but kpop industry is hard and the training system alone a huge challenge for them to deal with.
Maybe Big3 groups have it a little easier when it comes to gaining popularity because the companies are famous and their groups would receive more attention than for example groups from smaller and pretty much unknown to the general public companies.

I agree with what people are saying about Big 3 groups, and I would also add Big Hit groups
I feel that BTS is one of them. I could see why It would be so hard for such a popular group to keep going in Korea because of crazy (not all) fans. Fans can be crazy with anyone/any group but as far as BTS Korea, they receive way too much recognition And I think that they do have good songs but I personally don't get the hype about them. I never really liked them, I have nothing against them but I just don't stan them. I could see the hype for American fans since they top almost more charts there, But for Korea and America together, I feel like they're way too..."Over-hyped" But at the end of the day they do deserve all the hype because they went through so many hardships in order to be where they are. And they have charted a lot of billboards. So respecting army's around here, Yes I am very proud and would want any other group like them to be well recognized. But this is my opinion

I understand the hype for BTS, but not as much for BLACKPINK. They all deserve the support they're getting, but I think they're a little overrated.

As said here, I mostly think the Big 3 groups can be slightly overrated at times, along with BTS. They work hard and deserve all the love and support of course but so do all the other idols and groups out there and most of the time they don’t get the same support because they’re from a company that doesn’t have a big of a name. Big 3 groups get a massive helping hand as they’re from a company that is well known and are often known before they’ve even debuted. Most groups don’t get that.
but bts were not getting that too since they literally came from an unknown small company...
they worked to get where they are right now WITHOUT big 3 privilege.

I feel like Bts and Blackpink are overrated. I know that these people work so hard and obsolutly deserve that love and suppord, sometimes I even feel so bad for them because they look super tired after concerts, but I just can't understan why these 2 groups are that much popular than the others, 'cause all kpop groups work hard to make their fans happy. For my opinion all groups deserve that much love.
