i... oh man.

the backing track and the vocals don't seem to line up and the recorder feels offkey and theres just??? theres something so off about this song. i cannot explain what it is but as the song continues my head hurts more and more. and the way the song switches in the middle? this is... im sorry, i hate to say it, but it is simply not a good song imo. i feel like if theyd added some more consistent instrumentals and not done the recent sm trend of "randomly switching the song up for quirky reasons" it would have been a good song but right now it gives me temporary secretary by paul mccartney vibes and that is NOT a good thing. i really expected more from sm. i really did.

Honestly it's not their best comeback

I think they tried something new and you know it might not have been the best
But I still like it, the Mv is great tho with everything they did and the looks, it's just there is something maybe the sound, something about I can't explain it


But overall the Mv looked great, the team did good

I've read that SM is experimenting every comeback and I guess you just gotta accept that some experiments do Not work. (See: SuJu's House Party, which I would rank as one of the worst comebacks of 2021 overall.)

I haven't listened to the rest of the album yet tho; usually I only do that if I like the title track. Which probably isn't the best way to go about it, but I've managed to keep my playlist to a whole 1600 songs this way! haha. kill me /j.

Well it doesn't sound too bad for me.
But it's definitely a bit weird, maybe the flute? I dunno. SM is known for these kind of song experiments. Anyway, it's cool imo.
