This is just a compilation of my favorite album releases, with specified songs, that I loved in 2020.
I'll definitely add to it if a bop is released during the remaining weeks of the year.
I'm gonna be going by release date.

The ReVe Festival: Finale-Red Velvet

I know this song technically came out in 2019, but it was a week before 2020 so I'm counting it!
Of course I loved "Psycho", it's my favorite Red Velvet title track!
I also really liked the b-side "In and Out"!

The Black Hall-Pentagon

"Dr. Bebe" is an underappreciated bop that deserves a win!
It also some amazing b-sides like "Shower of Rain", "Worship You", and "Camellia"

Bloom*Iz-IZ*ONE

The title track, "Fiesta", is one of the only girl group songs I loved at first listen!
My bias, Chaewon, shined in this era with her talent and her short hair.
I also really love the bside "Spaceship", maybe even more than the title.
Also "Ayayaya" was amazing!

Jackpot-ELRIS

So, I only like the title track of this EP. But my love for that song is so strong, that it makes this list!
Stan ELRIS! They're so talented but underappreciated!

Neo Zone-NCT 127

Ok so "Kick It" definitely makes me list for SOTY (in terms of title tracks).
However, the bside "Not Alone" is what made this album for me.
I kinda put it aside until my playlist was on shuffle while I was driving. When the song hit the bridge/3rd chorus, I legit started tearing up it was so beautiful.
Other great bsides: "Elevator", "Pandora's Box", "Day Dream", "Love Me Now", and "Love Song".

It'z Me-ITZY

Just like "Jackpot", I only liked the title track "Wannabe".
It's the only ITZY song I loved at first listen.
I've probably listened to it a billion times at this point.

Nonstop-Oh My Girl

I was at first deterred by the cowboy hats, but that ended quickly.
The title track "Nonstop" is also on my list of SOTY in terms of title tracks.
Also, "Dolphin" is an iconic ear worm that I'm addicted to!

The Book of Us: The Demon-Day6

I only liked the title track "Zombie", but it slaps.
Not only the song, but the meaning behind it was so meaningful to me.
The music video was also really cool.
I hope that we can see all of Day6 preform it together soon!

Who Dis?-Secret Number

I didn't like this song at first because I thought the title was kinda lame. But now I love.
Lowkey it makes me feel like a boss ass *****!
The b-side "Holiday" is also amazing.
Denise's vocals are also gorgeous and she deserves the world!

Fantasia X-MONSTA X

This was my favorite album of the year, and "Fantasia" favorite song of the year for the longest time!
I freaking love "Fantasia" with all my heart. It deserved so much more!
Also the bsides: "Chaotic", "Beautiful Night", and "Stand Up".

So, 通-N. Flying

I love "Oh Really" so freaking much!!
I haven't looked into the other bsides from the album....
It's on my list!

Heng:garæ-Seventeen

Every.Song.On.This.Album.Is.A.Masterpiece.
This album made me a really proud Carat! The amount of beauty and talent infused in this album is incredible!
The title track is so refreshing, and I really want to learn the dance!
Also the bsides: "Fearless", "My My", "Together", "Kidult"
The vocals are heavenly on several of these bsides.

回:Song of the Sirens-Gfriend

I wasn't a huge fan of Gfriend (besides Sunrise and Time for the Moonnight) before this album.
It was such an amazing change in concept!
"Apple" is iconic and it got robbed thanks to Mnet.
It also has some amazing bsides like: "Eye of the Storm" and "Stairs to the North" are amazing.

Lived-ONEUS

"To Be or Not To Be" became my SOTY the instant I listened to it.
The song is fucking amazing! The vocals, the rapping, the different tones!
It should have been ONEUS's first win!
Also the bsides: "Dead or Alive", "Dizzy", "Come Back Home" are immaculate.
This album would be my favorite, if it wasn't for the next album.

*******In Life-Stray Kids******

This album. Just this album. It's fucking amazing.
I was hesitant because I was still salty about what Lee Know was given in "God's Menu".
But boy did they deliver.
When I first watched the MV I was hoping that Lee Know would have even 5 sec of screen time. And he appeared in the first seconds!
The dance is also one of my favorites of the year, due to the jazzy/west side story esque choreography.
I just love "Back Door" so fucking much. It's my SOTY! No matter what Mnet says!
The bsides are also incredible!
"Ex" being my favorite, "The Tortoise and The Hare", "Wow", "B Me", "My Universe"!

-77.82X-78.29-Everglow

Me loving "La Di Da" was a huge surprise, as I tend to only at the most like Everglow songs.
I love the retro superhero concept, Onda's beautiful prechorus, and the chorus!
It also has some great bsides like: "Untouchable"!

The Album-Blackpink

I was also surprised how much I loved the album.
"Love Sick Girls" was a pleasant surprise and change to their usual concept.
But, the song that really made this album for me was "You Never Know".
This ballad is so beautiful. All the vocals, especially Lisa's which were so refreshing.
"You Never Know" is kinda like "Ex" for me.
I also liked: "Love To Hate Me" and "Pretty Savage"

Flowering-Lucy

Someone on this forum introduced my to Lucy, and I am so thankful whoever you are!
This single, "Flowering" is an experience in itself when listening.
I love how the group has a violinist, it really adds to the sound.
The vocalist's tone is also really unique.
I really encourage you to look into Lucy.
They're an amazing K-band that deserve so much more attention.

Say My Name-ANS

So I discovered this song when I was looking into the group and the whole controversy.
I'm so sad that they disbanded. They had so much talent and promise.
Anyway, "Say My Name" is a fantastic song.
I hope the other members can debut again!
