Kpop Covers You Like More Than The Original

Are there any covers by kpop idols that you like more than the original song?
This can go for covers of English songs too!
*No hate to the original artists, they're version is amazing too!*

For me it's Chaewon's cover of IU's "Hold My Hand".
I think part of the reason is that I heard Chaewon's version first, so it sounds right in my head.
But I just love Chaewon's vocal tone and she sings amazingly in this song. When I listen to the original it just doesn't have that impact and ping.

I'm also partial to the cover version of "Somebody You Loved" by Jun, Donghun, and Chan of A.C.E over Lewis Capaldi's original.

i really like young k's cover of fly me to the moon

something about it scratches my brain just right (or i just like love songs idk)
the night boat ride setting, the guitar, the powerfuls vocals, its just pure perfection.

i also fancy txt's sriracha cover

i still sometimes cant believe that its txt singing it lmao it doesnt sound like them

but the cover i love most is probably jiung and theo's off my face cover

he just sounds so angelic and lovely and the rap he wrote for it gives the song a kind of beautiful longing that the original lacks

lily's cover of butter (bts)

i hate butter, but lily makes it sound so good

Psycho originally by red velvet covered by hyunjin and a couple of other people, I dont know the names sadly.
But I just liked it better when it was sung by them, don't get me wrong, red velvet's voices are god-tier, but i liked the song better the way they sang it.
I also liked fancy originally by twice covered by skz better.
OHH AND ghost originally by justin Bieber sang by Seungmin of stray kids!
Also La Vie En Rose originally by Izone covered by Kep1er. I thought they looked amazing in the outfits and the song rlly suited all of the members.
Very Nice by seventeen covered by NMIXX, I thought it was a mid song until nmixx covered it
Love Shot by exo covered by Le Sserafim, I can watch le sserafim's cover any day, its rlly good

i've heard this song way too many times for smth i did when i still went to church yrs ago, but the girls made it sound so good. i actually wanted to listen to their cover again, despite being beyond sick of this song lol. swan's voice rly suits billie's style

I have to admit I don't really listen to many covers, but I really really love Xdinary Heroes' Hellevator cover. The rocky take on the song is just really nice!
