ACKKKKK H-HE IS ONE FINE HUMAN ><
"Hello, there~~" A man walked over to you as your mom left you and your dad to park to shop. Your father saw his old friend and left you there to say hi. (WOOOOOOW SUCH A CONSIDERATE FATHER) You were 7 at the time, and you were quite smart for your age. So when the stranger approached, you eyed him cautiously.
"I have candy~ Do you want some? I'll get them for you~~" He cooed, making you feel more suspicious about him and began to walk backward, not realizing that it's a trap and you're walking into a dark alley where the garbage goes; exactly where he wanted you to go.
Right before he smirked and stuffed you in a huge trash bag, your mom came running to you and slapped the man in the face when he turned around. Later on, she yelled at your dad for leaving you out in public like that. He apologized and he never left you alone again.
As for your friend... It was how you two met and became best friends but you never knew what exactly happened to her before you noticed. She was actually captured for "two whole days" when she "tried to get away from another stranger, who lured me to a dead-end at the very end of a turn of the streets where there was another guy waiting."
You two were 13 at the time, where your parents allowed you to walk home. You walked past the garage that was always open; now closed. You wondered what happened to it as it was always empty. Perhaps it was just someone new. You decided to walk away when all of a sudden you heard a yelp from the garage, followed by a slam of something and the sound of shattered glass. Not knowing what's happening inside, you dialed the police. They arrived a few minutes later and made you evacuate to somewhere safer.
Minutes that seemed like hours later, one dead body of the culprit was found and one culprit was caught. Three girls were trapped inside including your friend, who was a stranger to you at the moment. One of the girls were injured from the glass, and the other one held unconscious as your friend held her eyes wide in horror as the police came. She had a rag over her mouth as she shook her head, trying to kick them away as hard as she can. She calmed down as they got closer to her, eyes still widened and face still shocked while stained with tears.
All three of the girls had to stay in the hospital when you were in the police station, describing everything you heard or saw.
Two days later, you got to school, only to see the girl once crying and conscious staring at you from a short distance. She walked over to you, surprised, and questioned, "Are you the one who dialed the police?" After you nodded shyly, she looked at you as if she was about to cry but her eyes weren't teary (Me when the school plays a really sad movie but I couldn't cry no matter what because of the number of people around me pressured it :'). She hugged you and repeated thank yous. You two introduced yourselves and became friends. As years grew, you two escalated to best friends.
You looked at her as she examined the child closely.
"What's your name?"
"M-M-my name's Benjamin..." (SHHHHHHHH I KNOW THIS NAME IS COMMON FOR CHILDREN IN FANFICS BUT DEAL WITH THIS BRAIN)
"Ok, Benjamin, do you want us to bring you to the police so they can bring you to your house so your mom wouldn't be worried?" Your friend suggested as his eyes turned wider and wider.
"N-No, it's fine~ Can't you bring me back?" He looked at you two with puppy eyes, melting your friend's heart slowly as you continued to judge her.
"Y- I mean, but your mommy would be suspicious if we personally brought you over... Think about it, what if she thinks that you were replaced by a robot and the real you are with us? She- she might..." Your friend widened her eyes as concern washed over her face. You looked at her acting dully as Benjamin became afraid.
"She might what?"
"S-S-She might... burn you or detach you, thinking that you're a robot!! And you'll be thrown into the trash, forgotten forever..." His eyes turned into complete horror this time and shook his head.
"M-Mommy w-w-wouldn't do t-t-that!"
"Oh yes, she would if WE brought you over. Robots and AIs exist, so do you think she wouldn't be suspicious? Oh, innocent child, how wrong you are if you thought she'd not be suspicious. She'd trust the officers more than trusting us, so you wouldn't be thrown in the trash after being detached or burnt if we brought you to the police to bring you home~~" She emphasized around the words detached and burnt along with officers with a concerned face.
Benjamin looked at you two with a pout. "O-Ok..."

Sorry if the backstory seemed confusing; most things are based off your point of view, therefore in your friend's backstory, it might be clearer when it's in her story and in her point of view.
