I don't really like Egirls though, SYY has more of a hip-hop/rap concept that's cool

Yes. It was originally planned for 48 members, thus the name, but it expanded way more. And that's not including local sister groups and international sister groups. They're also the group that collaborated with Produce 101 to create Produce 48.

Depends on what you're really into. If you're into more hip-hop/rap, I'd suggest sudannayuzuyally, FAKY, and BANANALEMON, as suggested. But if you're more into the girly/cutesy/femine type of groups, I'd suggest AKB48 and sistser groups, Hello!Project groups such as Morning Musume, Juice=Juice, Tsubaki Factory, etc. These are just some recommendations though. If you'd like more, I have an entire list full of Japanese artists in a variety of genres and ranging from idol groups, bands, indie, visual kei, soloists, and more.
