Once upon a time, many years ago there were four kingdoms that lived side by side in harmony. The Fire Kingdom, The Ocean Kingdom, The Sky Kingdom, and The Plant Kingdom.

The Plant Kingdom brought food and animals to the other Kingdoms.

The Fire Kingdom brought warmth and sunlight to the other Kingdoms.

The Ocean Kingdom brought water and trade routs to the other Kingdoms.

The Sky Kingdom brought seasons and shade to the other Kingdoms.

For decades they stood side by side together, that was until 500 years ago. The Plant King, Hongjoong broke ties with the Fire King after their relationship ended.

The Four Kingdoms had yet to see each other for the 500 years, until this year. The Sky King was hosting a ball where the four kingdoms would visit eachother and exchange gifts. He told the Plant King that the Fire King wouldn't be coming, then he turned around and told the Fire King the same thing.

Will all hell break loose or will the former lovers come together again and reconstruct the harmony between the kingdoms.

Hongjoong flew swiftly, making their way to the fire kingdom, taking in the beautiful plants before he was engulfed in the hot, dark area.

"I apologize, King Hongjoong, but I cannot let you pass" Jongho said sternly

"Why that's absurd! Why can I not pass?" She protested

"The Fire King has given me orders and I intend to follow said orders."

"What an arse" They mumbled, turning away and flying back to her kingdom

-In The Fire Kingdom-

"Are you saying that this very treaty will give me more power than the other kings?" Mingi questioned

"Why yes, My Lord" A cloaked woman announced, her words slipping smoothly off of her tongue

"Being the most powerful king.... it does sound quite nice, I have to admit" He mumbled, his lips curling into a small smirk

"Is that a yes, My Lord?" The cloaked woman asked, keeping her eyes from looking at Mingi

"I suppose it is-"

"My King, I've came to inform you that the Earth King came earlier, He tried to enter but Sargent Jongho turned him away"

"Hongjoong-" Mingi whispered "Yes, thank you" He nodded, shooing the guard away "I have to go, I shall give you my answer lat-"

"NO!" She shouted "I SHALL GET MY ANSWER NOW!"

"Ma'am- Please, I have something important to-"

"I. Said. NO." She flung an unidentified substance at Mingi, watching as he signed the papers against his will, she then lifted the papers up and flew them to the Earth Kingdom, then the Sky, then Ocean, and finally back to the Fire Kingdom.

-In The Earth Kingdom-

Hongjoong stood when he saw a paper enter his room, stepping to the parchment and lifting it in front of him

"I, Song Mingi, Fire King, am signing this paper in agreement to the cloaked womans offer to be the strongest King in the four lands. Taking control of the 3 surrounding Kingdoms"

Hongjoong stopped reading after the first sentence, the paper sliding from his hands, his wings stopped, causing him to abruptly fall to the ground

"Fuck.." He mumbled, getting himself together before heading to the outskirts of his kingdom

"San. I want you to meet with Jongho. Tell him that starting today the peace treaty between the Fire Kingdom and the Earth Kingdom is officially over and if I see a single fire fairy besides himself I will not hesitate to declare war"

"But, Hongjoong-" San started

"Please, San, Just deliver my message" Hongjoong pleaded, his eyes hurt, his face pale, San didn't even get to digest everything about his Kings appearance, it hurt to look at him.

"I will, Hongjoong" San smiled softly, flying off, out of sight.

It was now present day and Hongjoong was strolling through his garden, checking on the plants around him and healing the ones that were greying

"My King, The Sky King has sent you a parcel." One of his workers announced, holding out a package for Hongjoong to take

"Why thank you" Hongjoong bowed, taking the box and sitting on the ground.

"Dearest Hongjoong,

I realize that it is the least of your interest to attend any balls since the incident with the other king, but I am hoping that with the information that he will not come to the one that I am hosting you will change your mind and decide to come for the time that it takes place.

I do feel like it has been forever since our last ball, but I still remember it so well, It saddens me to think that we will never have one again, so me and The Ocean King have decided to work together on planning one, but we do not have everything we need, we still need your meat delicacies.

The Ocean King has said themselves that if you do not consent to coming the ball will have to be cancelled because our two lands would come together and protest the lack of meat, since I am afraid I have already told them you will most likely be attending

Oh I do hope you accept, Park Seonghwa ~ The Sky King

P.S: If you do in fact decide to come, please take your leave from your kingdom and come to the Sky Palace at once"

Hongjoong read the letter countless of times before flying to find San

"Choi San!" He called out

"Yes, Ma'am?" San asked, turning to look at his friend and ruler

"Please gather my stuff. I am making a trip to the Sky Kingdom"

"Yes, My King" San nodded, leaving his post and packing Hongjoongs bags, adding coats and soft gowns and suits for them to wear when she got to the palace

Mingi sat at his desk, the fire crackling wildly next to him, papers zooming into the flames as he commanded them to

"My Lord, There seems to be a letter from the Sky King to you" A shaky voice called from outside

"Write a reply and tell him to fuck off." He spat

"But- My Lord- he said it's urgent" The person on the other side explained

"Dear god." Mingi rolled his eyes, stomping to the door and pulling it open "Hand it over"

"Yes, My Lord" The person nodded, quickly handing the letter to him, getting a door in their face moments later

"Now what the hell could he possibly want." Mingi tore open the letter, pulling it out of the envelope and unfolding it swiftly

"Dearest Mingi,
