CHANMINA is Jpop though. Even if her main genre is rap/hip-hop, it still counts as Jpop. Jpop is an umbrella term short for popular Japanese artists, and I'd definitely count her as a popular artist.not exactly j-pop but i like chanmina and nico touches the walls : )
must check out!Arashi !!!!! ♥
King and Prince ♥
I hope you like them
Both of these groups are from the famous Johnny's Entertainment. Arashi has been around for I belive 20 something years while King and Prince is a newer group and have only been officially around about a year or so. Now is around a good time to get into Johnny's groups since they're opening up more and allowing them on social media and posting content to YouTube and other streaming websites.must check out!

I wouldn't say I'm an expert, but I have been listening to Jpop the same amount of time I have listened to Kpop (I got into both around the same time). It'd be about 10+ years now.You must be a jpop expert!
VKei bands are great. It's just really sad that the genre is so unstable that bands disband left and right. A lot of Vkei artists (especially those who have been in the industry long enough) have been through multiple band formations and breakups. It's a common trend to see and it's unfortunate really. One of my favorite Vkei bands (An Cafe) broke up around last year and another (SuG) sometime before that. Most of the jpop groups I would recommend are already on that list, but I can recommend some more Visual Kei bands that aren't up there.
I love Nana Mizuki! She's, unfortunately, an underrated queen when it comes to international recognition. For any anime lover, she's voiced and done theme songs for plenty of anime and her voice is truly unique since her vocal range can go from bubble-gum pop to dark. I just noticed her official YouTube channel has been uploading all her old music videos in full, which is a nice change. Hopefully, she'll get the international recognition she deserves. My recommendation is not that big, but if you want check them out:
1. One N' Only (ON'O)
2. Nana Mizuki (She's my J-POP Queen )
3. fripside
4. M!LK
I have those 4 in mind for now!
Hope I helped you!
