Geonu was always viewed as one of the strongest vocalists on I-Land, but was unfortunately eliminated. Therefore, he did not make the Enhypen lineup.
However, it seems that he will be debuting in a different group very very soon.
Play M Entertainment has been teasing a new boy group called Just B, previously known as PlayM Boys. The group will feature 6 members, with Geonu being the first to be introduced. Other possible members are 'The Fan' contestant/solo artist Lim Ji Min, former 1THE9 member Jeon Do Yeom, and former 'Under Nineteen' contestant Song Byung Hee.
This will be the first boy group to debut under Play M since VICTON in 2016.
Congratulations to Geonu! He totally deserves this debut.
