Just curious c:
Me, it depends if there's tutorials for the dance or no, but i think learning with tutorials is more easier for me than learn from the dance video mirorred ;D

i'm one who just watches m/vs or like the dance ver. of m/vs so much I memorize parts of it, and then when I realize I know parts of it i'm like, "oh ok I guess I like this dance so i'm gonna learn it" - or I just look at choreos and think they look cool so I like do the mirrored dance practices? I don't really know djsbvads

The way I learn dances is I watch the MV a lot as well as dance practice videos. If I really buckle down to learn a song, I find a mirrored dance version. Start at half speed, and break the song down into sections, like a certain member's lines.

You might also find this helpful.

i just watch the dance practice/performance mv and try to copy their moves as best as i can. i usually am able to fully “master” a dance within a couple days to a year or two, it really just depends on the difficulty and how much i practice.

I take classes and my teacher is a c-pop fan so she sometimes makes us learn K-pop dances. Then my private teacher listens to my requests for certain songs so I can learn that way.

Mostly I follow Lisa Rhee's dance tutorials because it's easy for me to follow a tutorial. If there isn't any good tutorial for a song that I'm looking for, then I go for the mirrored dance practices of certain groups.

I usually just use the mirrored dance practice, and I sometimes use a tutorial (and I only use a tutorial for the chorus even if I'm learning the whole thing). If there's a group that I'm starting to get into and I want to know all their dances, then I find a good mirrored random dance and just do that over and over again until I know just the chorus to at least their title tracks, then if there's any ones that I like a lot, then i'll go and learn the whole thing-

I just watch dance practises mostly. Unfortunately it took me learning 10 dances to realise they’re all backwards because I didn’t watch mirrored versions but oh well, no one will watch them anyways so no one will know.
But yeah I just work through them chronologically, and usually once the chorus is learnt it goes a lot faster since they’re usually quite consistent with only minor changes

I don't really watch mirrored versions because idk why I don't really like them- but I usually just learn the un-mirrored ones and do it over and over until my body gets used to it. :)

most of the times, i'll just watch the dance performance and try learning what i can from there. Then i might move on to a dance tutorial thing or just look at the mirror dance practice.
