☆ ITZY - LOCO [Ver. C] ☆
Feel free to do this with your own groups and soloists

Just to note:
I only included Korean title tracks, to make it easier
I'm not 100% sure I've listened to all of Brave Girls's title tracks
I didn't include DAVICHI as I have no idea which of their songs are OSTs lmao

ITZY: LOCO vs Sneakers
Loco is just AMAZING. I can't believe it's one of their less popular songs. Everything about it is just amazing to me. My favourite part of LOCO is 100% the instrumental though. It goes SO HARD
I don't dislike Sneakers anymore but it's still their weakest title track imo. It just feels like something is missing compared to their other title tracks. But icl it's a fun song that I find it hard to hate on now

WJSN: Last Sequence vs I Wish
You know when you listen to a song for the first time and just fall in love. Well I fell in love with Last Sequence before it was even released I just KNEW it was going to be the song for me. It's so magical
I Wish is again not a bad song. It's just slightly more plain compared to their other songs. I did consider putting MoMoMo but MoMoMo is just so catchy I couldn't do it. I love the I Wish concept though, very cute

TWICE: Fancy vs Alcohol Free
Maybe it's because I got into Kpop in 2019, when Fancy had just been released to the world, but something about Fancy is just so nostalgic and amazing to me. When I think iconic I think Fancy when I think TWICE I think Fancy. She is an immortal song
As for Alcohol Free, I just find it really bland... I did consider putting Like Ooh-Ahh but I think Alcohol Free is just quite an empty song. And it's weird because I usually like calmer songs with a bit more of a mature and elegant sound, but Alcohol Free is a miss for me

Purple Kiss: Zombie vs memeM
I did think of Nerdy too, but I just think Zombie is amazing. I wish it had been the song to blow them up because it deserved to be. But like when PK are huge in the future, Zombie will be the song all the new fans love I'm just saying
Purple Kiss hardly have misses. They have like 2 songs in their discography I'm not keen on. And memeM is one of them. I just find it messy. I do like the second verse-ish part of the song though.

Brave Girls: Chi Mat Ba Ram vs Rollin'
Might be coz it's summer and very hot in the UK, but Chi Mat Ba Ram just really lifts my mood and makes me wish I was by the sea
Rollin' may be a shock. I just don't find the song as enjoyable as the other titles I know of theirs. I think I overplayed it badly in 2019, coz even when the rest of Kpop found it last year, I just couldn't get back onboard

Jo Yuri: Love Shhh! vs GLASSY
Since there's only two titles, I'll just say GLASSY had me worried I wasn't going to like her discography, but now it's the only song of hers I'm not keen on

YUJU: Play vs Evening
This was the most painful one yet because I love both Play and Evening. But Play has been around longer so I have more attachment

SONAMOO: I (knew it) vs Cushion
Sonamoo went out with a bang. For a company who spent like no money on Somamoo (trust me TS makes YG, CUBE and Source look weak), I knew it is just chefs kiss. Friday Night was also very nearly chosen. Two bops
Cushion and Deja Vu were both released when TS was trying to make Sonamoo female B.A.P, which is probably why I'm not keen on these songs. I just think Cushion is less memorable. Shame coz the bsides hit so hard

Weki Meki: Crush vs OOPSY
Again, might be the summer mood, but Crush has just been so good at lifting my mood and making me want to dance
I'll say this in the nicest possible way, but Oopsy is a song I really don't like. I never have and I highly doubt I ever will.

ATEEZ: Fireworks vs Say My Name
I don't understand how Fireworks was so hated it's the song that made me like ATEEZ. It's just so catchy and energetic
I find Say My Name's chorus boring, so I was never bothered to check out the whole song

Kwon Eunbi: Glitch vs Door
Another painful decision, but Glitch is more my style than Door is. But both songs are so good

TXT: Loser=Lover vs Can't You See Me
Loser=Lover is my TXT version of ATEEZ lol. It just hit so hard it was great I loved singing the emo lyrics for the second half of 2021
This is going to sound extremely mean... but choosing a least favourite TXT title made me realise I like TXT for their bsides... I just find a lot of their titles boring. I'm sorry I feel baaaad. Can't You See Me is the one I like the least out of them all

I did have some more but this feels very long already, so I'll leave it here. If you want me to finish it the artists I didn't include are TRI.BE, AOA, Dreamcatcher, Mamamoo, Weeekly, Sunmi, Cherry Bullet, Hot Issue, PIXY, 3YE, BerryGood and DreamNote

Note: If you know me, you may notice I skipped IVE. Due to After Like being released by the end of the month, I've decided to wait for its release, and then I'll add it

I see that Im icy

Class:y
Classy and Shutdown. I'm not sure if I already listened to all their title tracks but I don't think Shutdown is bad, it was just too unexpected for me. And idk why I love Classy so much.

aespa
Life's too short and forever. I just don't feel attracted to forever as a song. I also love Next Level so yeah it was really hard choosing my fav.
(wait is yeppi yeppi a title track?)

Dreamcatcher
Odd eye and BOCA. It was a super hard decision since their first 2 or 3 albums have songs that really compete with Odd Eye.

TxT
Same as @shinnayu but I'm still considering it.

ITZY
LOCO and MITM or Not Shy. I think it's not shy because my ears hurt while listening to it and MITM is not really bad, it just sounds like something my 13 year old noob me would do on soundtrap on 2 days ngl.

Exo: Obsession vs Don't fight the feeling
I don't know what happened with DFTF but it was very lackluster in terms of a special album
Ateez: Guerilla vs Rocky
Guerilla Is better because I just find Rocky boring, the teasers didn't do Guerilla justice tho
Everglow: first vs Pirate
This one is hard but First really slaps you in the face, I absolutely love Pirate but over First and La di da?
Stray kids: Maniac vs Thunderous
Maniac for the win, I don't hate Thunderous tho Maniac was just better

This looked like something pretty interesting to do so I thought I'd try it out (it was pretty hard picking my favourites for some of them)!

EXO: Call Me Baby vs Lucky One
This one was pretty hard to decide. It's not that I don't like "Lucky One", just that I like some of their other songs better. It just isn't really my style, I suppose.

BTS: 00:00 (Zero O' Clock) vs Anpanman
Much like EXO with "Lucky One", "Anpanman" just isn't really my style. It certainly is a fun song, though I feel like it's just missing a little something that could potentially make me like it more.

Blackpink: Forever Young vs Boombayah
"Boombayah" was one of my favourite songs from Blackpink when I first got into them. After listening to all their music, though, I can confidently say "Forever Young" is one of my all time favourites from them (though "Bet You Wanna", "Love to Hate me". "Don't Know What to do". and "Lovesick Girls" are some honourable mentions). Sure, while their "black" songs are perfect for dancing to at a party, their "pink" songs just have that extra special something that really makes them stand out.

Aespa: Yeppi Yeppi vs I'll Make You Cry
While all their songs from their "Savage" mini album are absolute bops, "I'll Make You Cry" is a little too much for me, if that makes any sense. The music is heavy and intense and, while I do enjoy that type of music (though, I honestly enjoy a lot of different stuff), it just isn't exactly my cup of tea.

NCT: Boom (specifically from 127) vs Nonstop
"Boom" is such an adorable and sweet song! And while "Nonstop" is quite good, I feel like it's pretty basic(is that the right word?) and just feels really bland to me (same with "Lemonade", to be honest).

Ateez: Eternal Sunshine vs Pirate King
Kinda like "I'll Make You Cry", "Pirate King" is just a lot for me personally. Again, it's a good song, and while I'm all for heavy beats and music that can get your adrenaline pumping, I wouldn't really choose to listen to it if I could choose one of their other songs.

This is in alphabetical order based on my itunes library.
CLASS:y: Shut Down vs Classy
Shut down is such an iconic and underated debut, while Classy is just not it.

ENHYPEN: Drunk-Dazed vs Blessed-Cursed
Drunk-Dazed made me stan and Blessed-Cursed nearly did the opposite.

Everglow: First vs Dun Dun
It was hard to pick a favorite for Everglow but the cinematic vibes of First made me pick it. Dun Dun is just forgettable and kinda bad ngl...

fromis_9: Love Bomb vs Glass Shoes
Love Bomb is so cute but not overwhelmingly so. I think I listened to maybe 30 sec of Glass Shoes lol.

GFRIEND/VIVIZ: Sunrise vs Fingertip
Sunrise is just suchhh a good song. It's beautiful and ethereal to the ears. Fingertip is just not it. The retro vibe is campy and the 'cha cha cha fingertip' in the chorus hurts my head.

ITZY: LOCO vs Not Shy
It was also hard to pick a 1st for ITZY but Loco is just so amazing and catchy. Not Shy is a song I wish never passed through my ears.

IZ*ONE: Panorama vs SSOTS
There really isn't a huge difference between these songs for me.

Le Sserafim: Only have 1 title

Lightsum: Alive vs Vivace

Alive is the breath of fresh air that should have been more popular. Vivace was good but unoriginal.

Monsta X: Fantasia vs Anything post Love Killa
I haven't been liking an new Monsta X tracks but Fantasia slaps and Kihyun is avocal god.

Oh My Girl: Secret Garden vs A-ing
Secret Garden is that ***** that everyine wants to be lol. A-ing is a sad remake.

Red Velvet: Psycho vs One of These Nights
Psycho is my favorite kpop song ever and is so good that it doesn't need to be explained. I like a good ballad but OOTN is kinda boring for me.

Seventeen: Thanks vs Hot
Thanks is so beautiful, but it was hard to pick it between a coupl of other tracks. The only part I like in Hot is the key section in the chorus.

Stray Kids: Back Door vs Mirror
Back Door's 'west side story' vibe automatically makes it the superior song in their discography. While Mirror is a bit boring to me.

Xdinary Heroes: Happy Death Day vs Test Me
I love both of these, but Test me is the worst song on that album so I'll put it as least favorite.

Taeyeon: U R vs Weekend
U R is a ballad done so incredibly well. Taeyeon's voice is beautiful and I could listen to it all day. Weekend was good and catchy but I will never fogive that rap.

IU: You & I vs Blueming
You & I has the fairytale vibe I look for the most in songs. Blueming kinda feels like it's trying to be something IU isn't.

and here i come, stanning over 50 grps/soloists.....jk, i'm only gonna my ults for now, but i'll be back to this thread lol

skz: back door vs miroh
back door is lucky get cool isn't a title track, but in terms of tt: back door is simply the best of the best. and miroh? meh. it's good sure, but i've never understood the hype.

blackpink: as if it's your last vs boombayah
aiiyl is that b!tch, the regina george of kpop. it was my first cb both as a blink and a kpop stan, so it holds a special place in my heart - and yes, even the rap. while i like boombayah, it can get annoying after a bit. plus the mocking war cries, ofc

twice: likey vs like ooh ahh
feel special, yes or yes, and fancy are all v v close to likey, but likey takes the crown in the end. i LOVE happy sounding songs that are actually sad. like ooh ahh was...a rough start. i don't like it. like, at all. every once in a while, i feel like listening to it, but for the most part i ignore it.

(g)i-dle: uh oh vs dumdi dumdi
i actually used to hate uh oh, but i've sense come to my senses (hann is a close second, tho). if lion was a tt, it would be 1st, but it isn't, so sad :c oh, and dumdi dumdi sucks. it's forgettable, and when i remember it i'm annoyed.

rolling quartz: blaze vs good night
okay, so they only have 2 tt and one is a cover, but still. i adore blaze and listened to it every day for WEEKS when i first heard it. still obsessed

dreamcatcher: boca vs rose blue
what can i say abt boca? it's simply amazing, fantastic, revolutionary, one of a kind, can never be done again. rose blue is just forgettable and doesn't have that dreamcatcher charm

Red Velvet: Psycho vs. Rookie
for Psycho, who doesn't like Psycho?? I would never get sick of that song, ever. While Rookie... It's just too cutesy and umm cringy. The message of the song is just pointless, yeah.

BLACKPINK: Ddu-Du Ddu-Du vs. Boombayah
their popularity actually rose MORE in this comeback. I actually like the concept and the stage presence they give when they perform this song. I'm just not a fan of the chaotic concept and the loudness of Boombayah... I'm not sure if Ice Cream is counted as a title track, but if it is, I'd say it's my least favorite one.

STAYC: ASAP vs. Beautiful Monster
I just can't get ASAP out of my head. Beautiful Monster is soooooo good, genuinely, but it's just not as unforgettable as the others.

aespa: Dreams Come True vs. Girls
I love that 90s + ethereal concept sooo much in Dreams Come True. Their outstanding vocals are shown in that song. Girls is just too messy and unappealing for me. I prefer Next Level than Girls, ngl.

i'm back, this time w my semi-ults minus song soo woo + hinapia, who only have one song

itzy: wannabe vs icy
i also rly rly love loco, but the "oasis chajneun kitty" is bringing it down; wannabe is absolutely iconic, tho, and i listen to it almost once a week. i hate icy, tho. i'm not a big fan of dalla dalla tbh, but i rly hate icy. the prechorus is good, but other than that it's annoying and low quality, and the mv is easily their worst

pristin: wee woo vs we like
they only have 2 tt, but still. we like is good, but nothing can compare to wee woo

everglow: la di da vs adios
i actually love every single everglow song, so this was rly hard. first almost won, but la di da can never be topped. as for adios, i just listen to it the least (and yes, i am a dun dun defendor till i die)

red velvet: umpah umpah vs rookie
this was actually rly hard to choose; red flavor and peek a boo are strong contendors for favorite tt too, and if #cookiejar wasn't a japanese release, it would win. but even tho i used to hate umpah umpah, i rly love it now. it's so catchy and well done. it's cute wo being childish, which is smth not all grps can pull off, but rv executed the concept wonderfully. plus it's one of those happy sounding sounds that are actually dark, since it's abt drowning. as for rookie, it's annoying and repetitive, but not in an iconic way

purple kiss: nerdy vs memem
i literally cannot get nerdy out of my head, i absolutely love it. i like memem, but it wasn't what i was expecting/hoping for

alexa: revolution vs tattoo
revolution is lucky wonderland is just a special release and not a title track. tattoo is last place bc it's forgettable; i mean, it's good and i like it, it's just the least impressive out of all her tt

☆ ITZY - LOCO [Ver. C] ☆
I think I will also do my part 2. Note that similarly to Brave Girls I’m not 100% sure if I’ve listened to all of Dreamcatcher or BerryGood’s title tracks

TRI.BE: Would You Run vs KISS
All 3 of TRI.BE’s first songs are bops, but Would You Run has survived the longest. It just hits in a different way than their others.
As for KISS, it’s fine. It’s their only song I didn’t instantly fall in love with

AOA: Come See Me vs Get Out
So when I first drafted this list, Short Hair was my favourite AOA title. But then I went on this really intense quest to demonstrate how CSM has the same BPM as WJSN’s Hmph and April’s Lalalilala and once again I’m obsessed with Come See Me. This is just a song I always come back to and is actually my 5th most played song on Spotify of all time. Fun fact Would You Run also has the same BPM, I discovered it too late
I have nothing to say about Get Out other than the fact I forgot it existed. I think that says all

Dreamcatcher: Maison vs Good Night
DC’s music tends to age not so well for me, so I’m not surprised Maison is first. Other than its slightly cheesy lyrics though it’s a bop
Honestly even if I lose my obsessions with DC’s songs, they remain bops. But their older songs like Good Night are skips for me (and there’s a few I don’t think I’ve even heard)

MAMAMOO: Where Are We Now vs AYA
When I heard WAWN for the first time I cried. Mamamoo really said hi it’s our 7 year anniversary and we’re here to prove we still have the same god tier vocals we did when we were infants. The only downfall is the lack of lines given to Moonbyul. Seeing her just stand there on stage was devastating
I’ve listened to AYA over 100 times. I know the choreography for AYA (or at least I used to). But it’s a song I forced myself to like. It just doesn’t hit the same. Some of the lyrics are weird. The ending is out of place. I like the instrumental but overall it’s a let down

Weeekly: Ven Para vs Holiday Party
My love for Ven Para is too intense. So I will keep it short. When Zoa sang more spicy and crazy she meant it
I sorta have this pattern with weeekly songs that I like one song and dislike the next. I like After School, and I like Ven Para, but Holiday Party was a miss. I didn’t like the instrumental and then the song itself just felt kinda off

Sunmi: Heroine vs You Can’t Sit With Us
Sunmi’s songs are so unique they’re like their own concept. Heroine tbh isn’t a good example of that but like it just lifts my spirits so much. I don’t actually know what the song is about but I always feel like a girl boss when I listen to it
I really just don’t understand YCSWU. It had so much potential but the lyrics were weird, the rap was completely unneeded and the mean girls reference just didn’t work. Also, I don’t want to shame women here but seeing grown female idols doing school girl concepts is odd (Sunmi isn’t the only one who’s done this)

Cherry Bullet: Really Really vs Aloha Oe
Cherry Bullet have some great title tracks but my favourite is Really Really. It’s just so positive, it fits the vibes of both spring and summer and the choreo is just so fun
I’m pretty sure every kpop stan chose to erase Aloha Oe from their memory and for good reason

Hot Issue: ICONS vs GRATATA
Their company robbed them of the chance of having a bad song. But ICONS is iconic beginning to end THEY HAD SO MUCH POTENTIAL FFS

PIXY: Villain vs Wings
Similar to DC, their music tends to age over time. But like interestingly enough I started off being not as keen on Villain but then growing to love it. I love the sudden change in rhythm when we reach the chorus. Edgy to jazzy I love it. Shame Ella had to sit out
I’ve had a rollercoaster relationship with Wings. And rn, I just don’t love it. But I love the concept

3YE: YESSIR vs Stalker
YESSIR is just chefs kiss. It deserved to go viral. Their vocals are amazing, the song is amazing, for a nugu group the quality is amazing. It makes me feel so powerful
Stalker is just… empty. It feels like something is missing. The quality was a downgrade, it’s not as catchy. I wish they would have a comeback so I could move on from Stalker

BerryGood: Mellow Mellow vs BibbidiBobbidiBoo
Ok so I’m not 100% sure if Mellow Mellow is THE title track of Free Travel as Green Apple was also on this album, but a quick Google search said they’re both title tracks so… Mellow Mellow is just so sweet and cheerful and the vocals are so pretty
Not even gonna bother typing the title out again but BBB just never hit. Often for me cute songs are either a big hit or a big miss and BBB is the latter

DreamNote: Ghost vs DreamNote
Ghost got DN the attention they DESERVED. It’s a shame groups have to abandon their origin concept and do girl crush to get big, but Ghost deserved the attention it got
DreamNote isn’t a bad song, it’s just forgettable compared to their others

I was going to wait for After Like to post this but IVE are just so special they get their own post and it’s defo not coz I’m impatient

BTS: Boy With Luv vs DNA
  • I loved the whole Boy With Luv concept, I think they were all really cute and lovely and it was such a fun video to watch.
  • Now, I do not hate DNA, however, when it comes up on my shuffle, I do skip it sometimes. It was an amazingly written song, but it is not one of my favorites.

NCT 127: Superhuman vs Fire Truck
  • I knew from the first moment I listened to Superhuman I loved it! The whole song is such a bop and each member really shined. Additionally, my ult bias is Lee Donghyuck and he completely killed it.
  • I DO NOT BY ANY MEANS HATE THIS SONG! This just happens to be my least favorite era style wise for the boys

NCT Dream: Hello Future vs Chewing Gum
  • Hello Future is a beautifully written song with an amazing message, additionally I love that each member had a very captivating line or part! The concept was very Dream.
  • ANOTHER SONG I DO NOT HATE! Cute concepts for boy groups don’t really do it for me. Don’t get me wrong, they are adorable and have a lot of cute songs, but this one was too cute, and I couldn’t really get into the era itself.

EXO: Love Me Right vs Wolf
  • This song is such a bop it isn’t even funny bro! I loved everyone in it… DO is my EXO bias and he had amazing lines as did the WHOLE vocal line.
  • I DID NOT ENJOY THE ERA AT ALL!!

Seventeen: BOOMBOOM vs HIT
  • I think this concept and era was just superior in every way possible. The boys looked great, danced great, sang and rapped great. I just loved it all
  • I can’t get into the song, I think the dance is amazing, they perform it very very well. It is just not for me.

Red Velvet: Peek-A-Boo vs Zimzalabim
  • ALL FIVE OF THEM SLAYED DURING THIS ERA!! I think they really put their best foot forward for this song, it was a very Red Velvet song!
  • I did not like this song at all, I normally add songs that I have listened to into my playlist, and I couldn’t with this song, I did not enjoy it.

TWICE: I Can’t Stop Me vs Alcohol Free
  • This song is such a bop, and the girls did amazing. I love the chorus; it is very catchy.
  • I can’t get into this one… sorry

BLACKPINK: Kill This Love vs How You Like That
  • I think this was one of their best songs, I like they SHOWED UP AND SHOWED TF OUT!! I LOVE IT!!
  • I don't really like this song, like it’s in the playlist but it is not a song I got searching for.

I am here to finally cover IVE

IVE: Love Dive vs After Like
Yeah this is painful.

Well, even though I'm having the biggest crisis about what my favourite song is right now, Love Dive is still at the top of the food chain until I say otherwise so, Love Dive is the obvious winner here. It's such a unique song. It's clearly an elegant song but feels different to other elegant songs.
As for After Like, I think it has only two downfalls. It's on the same album as My Satisfaction, and it's the successor of Love Dive. After Like is upbeat, it's catchy, it pays hommage to a timeless song while being its own song. If After Like had been IVE's debut with idk Take It as the bside I would probably love the song way more than I do. The thing is, Love Dive and My Satisfaction are two of my absolute favourite songs now. After Like does slightly make me miss the elegant concept of Eleven and Love Dive, and My Satisfaction then makes it worse by completely overshadowing it. So that's why After Like isn't my favourite as much as the others. But I'd still give it a 7/10

IVE: Love Dive vs After Like
absolutely addicted to Love Dive and it’s 100% hit worthy!,
don’t get me wrong I still like After Like but I‘m not like a huge of fan of it but I like the fact that it’s catchy and all, definitely I think it’s not as catchy as their previous title tracks. I also find myself not playing that song as much as I would play their previous title tracks too.

Purple Kiss: ponzona vs memeM
Ponzona has to be one of the best debut songs I have ever heard and I had it on repeat after listening to it for the first time during the same night cause it’s totally my vibe and it sounds sooo good, and the vocals too oof! especially both Goeun and Swan’s vocals sound amazing here!
memeM honestly sounds like another typical-hardcore-generic type song and the choruses were not it.

STAYC: so bad vs beautiful monster
so bad is also one of the best debut songs I’ve heard! verses and choruses really catchy and addicting!
I don’t really vibe with beautiful monster as much as their previous title tracks and I find it quite forgettable too.
