Favorite Korean Movies?

What are some of your favorite movies from Korea?

I like Train to Busan and Parasite but my all-time favorite Korean movie has to be Veteran. It is such an awesome, well made film with a perfect mix of action and comedy. I highly recommend it and any of the others.

My annoying brother!! I watched that movie cause Do Kyung-Soo (D.O from EXO) was in it and he's one of my ult biases but I ended up really liking that movie!

I know! It's hard to believe it didn't actually gross that much money in Korea! It's like number 16 of highest grossing movies ever, which is not where I thought it would be given its popularity

Also Parasite not only won the Oscar for Best Picture and Best Director, but it was the first foreign film to do so

Yeah! My Korean Language professor was obsessed with it for weeks. He used it in all his example slides for grammer patterns practically. He was so proud/happy when it won

Yeah I watched it before the Oscars and really wanted it to win, but I thought it wouldn't cause it's a foreign film, so I was expecting 1917 to win, so it was a huge and awesome suprise.
Talking about this makes me want to watch it again

I saw it at my school when we all still allowed to be there. They screened it for free to the student body and even brought in a panel of people to talk about and video chatted with the director about the movie afterwards.

i've only seen two kdrama movies
i liked one and hated the other
the one i liked is about a girl who gets made fun of for not being attractive and for being overweight. she likes a guy but in her mind she thinks she has to get plastic surgery for things to work out. it's a pretty old movie and i forgot the name
AND I HATED 20TH CENTURY GIRL i related to the movie </3
