don't forget newjeans. they are changing the direction of kpop..Long term leader, ITZY, as their debut era was just really impactful and was one of the moments where it was certain 4th gen was starting. Since theyโre one of the first 4th gen groups theyโve naturally just done a lot of things firstโฆ now it somewhat feels the market has become a little oversatured and theyโre losing that same impact, but nothing will be able to erase the iconicness of ITZYโs first few years
IVE and LE SSERAFIM also have very good potential. Is it too early to call them leaders? Imo yes. Theyโre just warming up rn so thereโs no way to be sure whether theyโll continue the success they had this year. However, I particularly have my eye on IVE and Iโm excited to see the directions both groups head in
As respectfully as possible, I โforgotโ NewJeans because I donโt like their music. If this was a thread about who I think 4th gen leaders are I wouldโve potentially listed them, but since this is a thread about my favourites I focused on groups I standon't forget newjeans. they are changing the direction of kpop..
