According to Sports Kyunghyang, Chen's family were all present at The Shilla Seoul, a luxurious hotel, to celebrate his daughter's first birthday. Chen and his wife were dressed in hanbok and spent a great time with their family. Chen took time off his military service to be able to celebrate his daughter's first birthday properly.

Chen and his wife got married in January 2020 while they had their daughter later in April. Since fall 2020, Chen is serving in the military.

It's so heartwarming to see him take time off his military service for this special occasion. Parenthood must be treating him and his wife so well!
