I feel like everyone thought, including myself, that Yiren would not be returning to Everglow. Due to previous instances of Chinese idols leaving their groups for a "short hiatus" and never coming back, Yiren seemed to be another instance of this.
However, the tables have turned and Yiren has returned to South Korea after 10 months. She was spotted at Incheon Airport today by fans.
It looks like Everglow is also picking up activities again, as they are reported to be releasing a collaborative song called "Ghost Light", produced by TheFatRat.
Although this photo is OT5, with the return of Yiren a day after the announcement, it can be assumed that she will probably be joining in!
