Do you think more k-pop groups should have more english subtitles/more langauges?

I've noticed that on most K-pop songs that there is not many subtitles, what's your thoughts on this and why?​

I don't mind them not being there for music videos. But with their content when its just them talking, I wish they had them. it's really difficult to tell what is going on.

Yes. Like Tara said, don't really mind it for the MVs but when it's their reality shows and things like that, it would be nice to know what they're saying.

I am very divided on this tbh.

One side of me, the monologuist English 16 y/o, wishes I could watch their shows and vlives and understand everything that’s happening so I can feel closer to my idols, and not have to rely on others to provide subtitles days or weeks after, in secret places so they don’t get striked.

But at the same time, these idols and shows are Korean/Japanese/Chinese etc, and they don’t have an obligation to make all their content accessible to everyone in the world. There are so many languages so it would be impossible to cater for everyone.

However, with the globalisation of kpop, I know that none of these groups would want to intentionally exclude parts of their fandoms due to language barriers, so I hope that throughout 4th gen we see more idols/companies/networks making their content more and more accessible for everyone

I like the subtitles of MVs, because it gives the viewer a clear translation of whatever is being sung

Whenever subtitles automatically appear the first time I watch a MV, I immediately turn them off. I usually concentrate on that the second time I take a listen so I don't mind it but in their variety shows I find it hard or better impossible to keep up if I don't know what they're saying ;(
They're not forced to add english subtitles anywhere but that totally depends if they're targeting an international audience or not.

YES! Especially when they Talk ( I cant understand them) (Sometimes in their MV) but I like more when they speak so I could understand why they start laughing or start to do something intense...(I start to laugh yet I dont know wth they're doing)
